Susan J Cardwell, M.A., LPC-S

4245 Kemp Blvd, Suite 315

Wichita Falls, TX  76308

940-691-1267

Payment
Susan accepts most insurances which pay (excluding deductible/co-pay) for the diagnoses typically treated with CBT: major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, bipolar disorder, panic disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, and others. Private Pay and Employee Assistance Programs are also acceptable forms of payment. Sliding scale fee is unavailable; however, payment plans can be arranged.

How hard is it to get an appointment at Cardwell Counseling?

Primary insurance companies require providers to offer appointments within a certain time period depending on client needs. Contract and Private Pay clients are given equal consideration for those time frames. The majority of clients are offered an intial session within 72 hours of their request.

What if I can't get to my appointment?

Call 24 hours of your scheduled appointment and leave a message. You may be charged full fee for less than 24 hour notice of cancellation.

Do you offer any other kind of counseling other than Cognitive Therapy?

"Unconditional Positive Regard" is the most basic idea we learn in college when meeting clients. It means accepting the person for who they are, where they are in life, and what they're bringing into the session. No matter what counseling theory is used, Cardwell Counseling is a safe place to learn about yourself, set goals, work hard, and make progress.
