Thursday morning & two Saturdays a month are typically Face To Face sessions. If needed, an afternoon will open during the summer. Additional clinical hours are Telehealth.

Susan began her professional journey as an educator; the fulfillment of her childhood vision to become a teacher. She graduated from VFCC, now University of Valley Forge, where she collaborated with the education department to develop a community tutoring center. Susan graduated with honors from West Chester University with a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology and relocated to Texas where she substituted in WFISD, worked at Vernon College, and Midwestern State U, while completing the required counseling internship. In addition to running the business and counseling, Susan consults with businesses and trains staff. She earned Diplomate status with the Academy of Cognitive Therapy and has enjoyed extensive CBT training at the Beck institute. 

CardwellCounseling remains dedicated to providing excellent, professional counseling to cleints within the scope of expertise per Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors. LPC Rules & Regs changes in 2020-2022 resulted in Susan Cardwell modifying the practice to refer prospective clients to other counselors or agencies in the city. Susan's expertise is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Co-payments, cost share payments, and self payments can be made electronically, through credit card on file or over the telephone, by check, or with cash at the time of your appointment.
