Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, CBT, is based on a highly researched theory that the way we thing about a situation affects how we feel, and how we feel affects our behavior. CBT helps clients identfy distressing thoughts and they learn how to change them. Through collaborating with the counselor and learning a variety of ways to test thoughts, clients begin to feel better and meet their behavior goals.
